The Pseudorca Hawaii's false killer whale
the false killer whale, pseudorca crassidens receives it's name for it's resembalence to orcinus orca. " pseudes" in greek means false. like it's name sake it is a dolphin not a whale.they are wide-ranging found in all tropical,sub-tropical and warm temperate seas.they eat squid and large palagic fish such as dolphin fish and mahimahi. they eat during they day and we have no complete idea on how long they live. false killer whales are larger members of the delphind family.this is a hardly seen species which although mostly observed over deep water is know to stray from many coasts false killer whales eat many of the same fish we do and because of this they are going to run into many fisheries that are fishing the fish so that we may eat them but along with the fish they are catching false killer whales. the false killer whale population is falling fast, because fisher men are killing them. some times they strand themselves on beaches to die peacefully and people push them back into the ocean.
